about Ze Peps
Born in 1968 he started playing guitar at the age of 6. By his sixteens with friend Alain he start playing with 'Prós & Contras'. Later in the begining of the 90's he got invited to join 'Gasgânia' a local Hard Rock act. A few years later with friend Nuno Godinho started the 'Dedos Na Ferida' project. By 2002 the big time pop-rock band from Portugal 'Hands On Approach' invited him to join them on their second album 'Moving Spirits' tournée around the country. He still collaborates with them whenever they need. By 2005 he got into 'Sons de Cá' a tradicional/progressive band from Évora. Then last year again with friend Nuno Godinho started the project 'Os Outros'. Now he is one of the four elements of the project Pucarinho. He's main influences as a musician: AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Nick Drake, Dream Theatre, etc, etc,. As a guitar player my main influences are: Jimmy Page, Hendrix, Steve Vai, Frank Zappa, Tommy Emmanuel, Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, Al DiMeola, etc etc. Allways with the guitar in mind!!!
