about Yolanda Martinez
I am an Apache/Hispanic Artist, Singer, Songwriter and Drum Maker. I grew up in New Mexico hanging out with Nature so in turn I love Earth Mother and feel very connected with her. I travel all over the Country and Europe doing Concerts, Drum Making Workshops, Drumming Circles and Womens Circles teaching the Honoring of the Woman. I started the Central Valley Moon Lodge Circles in CA in 1991 and have started circles in Florida, NY, NJ, etc. I believe that it is important to teach through our music and through the things that we do in life. I am always working on new music and I just released my 7th CD AMERICA (12/06) and I'm very excited about it. I hope some day to be able to come to your City and sing my songs for you. Kinda folk and country all rolled into one. Very nice, strong voice. Traditional story telling done with a song. Well done.
