Oscar Omondi aka Shahidi Mosh is a Kenyan Gospel singer. Born in 1985, he began loving Music at a tender age. In almost his entire life, he has spent most of his time either listening to music or singing. He began singing at 10 when he first joined his primary school choir. Later, he joined his high school choir and became very actively involved in his church choir as well. At an early age, Shahidi Mosh drew much of his inspiration from his father, who had a Master’s degree in music and who until his death was a music lecturer cum trainer and adjudicator.

But the path was not crystal clear for this multi-talented singer after losing his parents at age 12.Life became hard as he had to shoulder the burden of taking care of his siblings. But despite all the obstacles, Shahidi Mosh remained steadfast, pursuing all his dreams. He currently has a Master’s degree in International Relations from University of Nairobi but still views music as a passion and a dream which he has to pursue to the end.
