about wren722
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, I grew up spending most of my time in the woods, and along the red banks of a quiet, sleepy lake just down from a meandering country river. I launched into early adulthood with adventures in the big cities across the U.S., spending substantial time in Manhattan, NY, and Los Angeles, CA. A 20+ year career in the film and television industry fed my thirst for variety and challenges, offering many opportunities to travel the world and experience many different cultures, many different people. Upon returning to the US after two lengthy stays in Eastern Europe, I began a journey of an even more spiritual nature than I'd felt my whole lifetime, and I began to take steps onto the "good red road", with new motives, clear intention and a readiness to "let go and let God". Much growth has occured over the years; and many changes. I left the "Hollywood Career" and took a leap of faith, moving to an area I'd never been to before, in a small, rural, Amish community in Western New York. There I established Moon Ivy Hill wildlife refuge and sanctuary, and founded a 501-c-3 non-profit called The Kiva Connection. The Kiva Connection is dedicated to the provision of spiritual retreat and wellness facilities to seekers of personal growth and healing, and all that I do benefits Moon Ivy Hill and the Kiva Connection; whether I'm serving as a writer, sculptor, painter, makeup/bodypaint artist or Shaman.
