about Wistful Sound Gazers
WSG's songs can invoke a calming affect like chamomile and honey, and that easy flow is an end result to the art of making music that singer/songwriter Ron Christopher finds amazing, daunting and inspiring. "You can dig through a lot emotionally when you express what stirs your heart and soul, and on top of that you put it out there for the world to hear? For me, it's therapeutic. I learn about myself when a song comes along that helps me understand better than I could've without it."
Resonating with a timeliness that embraces the themes of a new era full of promise and purpose, Christopher especially now has cause to reflect on the inspiration behind his lyrics. "I think about how I've felt in tough situations in the past, and how other people must feel when they're enduring bad times, in situations where they feel powerless. And the words in "So Much More" are their reprise - that no matter what, we're never really alone, you can let go of the past, and there is hope."
