about windwarrior
Indian Blood is like Gold.
No matter how thinly it is spun, It stills shines just as brightly.
Chief Carl GreyOwl Griggs
Northen Cherokee Nation.
I am of Native American decent; Seminole on my Father's side, Cherokee and Comanche on my Mother's side.I was brought up on a small Family farm, where I was taught many wonderful things concerning the "Spirit of the Earth", and Natural Healing by my Father.
My Mother taught me "Handed-Down Folk Remedies",such as the uses for baking soda, and using vinegar as a household cleaner, and to disinfect a wound.
I am a TRADITIONALLY TRAINED (NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN) HERBALIST, NATURAL HEALTH CARE CONSULTANT, CERTIFIED MENTAL HEALTH CARE SPECIALIST (trained by the United States Air Force), and TRAINED MASSEUSE.
In more common terms you could simply say I am a Healer.
I also help and heal animals .
I've been labeled as crazy, non-conformist, a rebel, a hippie, and on occasion, a trouble-maker. I guess I'm all those things. I just don't like all those rules and regulations, Unless they are my own ,Ha, Ha!I'm also an Empath. That means I feel what you feel.
I also see Spirits, and on occasions, Demons, which can be pretty scary. And yes, those things really do exist. Just because you've never seen one, doesn't mean they are not there. Some of my Spirit Animals are: Wolf, Owl, Hawk, Horse, Dog, and Bear. What is a Spirit Animal,? Well, write to me and I'll tell you. Oh, one more thing, for those of you who don't have a clue where Conroe is, it's about 40 miles north of Houston, Tx. Used to be a tiny country town, but it is growing like crazy now, cause all the folks from Houston are trying to get their families out of the big, bad city. "The Time has come to share the secrets."
Canadian Aboriginal Elders
These are the End times and the people must know the truth, share what we have taught you.
There can be no more secrets now if we are to survive as a thinking species through these times."
"This," they say, "must be done because the dream of humanity can only be preserved through the combined efforts of all peoples, and the joining and merging of all cultures into a oneness."
statement of the Traditional Hopi Elders
as told to Cho Qosh Auh Ho Oh,
a Chumash/ Yaqui/ Maya Indian
"These ( sacred ) ceremonies do not belong to Indians alone, they can be done by all who have the right attitude....and who are honest and sincere about their beliefs in Wakan Tanka ( Great Spirit ) and follow the rules"
"Survival of the world depends on our sharing what we have, and working together.
If we don't, the whole world will die.
First the planet, and next the people" ~
Fools Crow~

The Native American Drum is a deep and Sacred part of Native American culture.
Indian people know the beat of the drum to be the heartbeat of GrandMother Earth.
It is the healing rhythm that we hear when singing, dancing, or walking through this world.
The round form of the drum represents the circle of life and the whole universe.
Its steady strong beat is the pulse, or the heartbeat, throbbing at the center of our world.
The sound of drumming moves our Spirit and helps us to know and understand the Natural world, and our place within it.
Drum music gives patience and understanding about the mystery and power of all things.
"THE DRUM"
Taken from the CD, "Drum Medicine"
by David and Steve Gordon
The Drum speaks
The Drum listens
The Drum is the center
The Drum is the circle
The Drum is the heart
The Drum binds us together
The Drum frees us
The Drum is the path
The Drum is the journey
The Drum is the medicine
The Drum is the healing
The Drum is the silence within the sound.
Breath.
The source of your being.
Exhale.
Let go of carbon dioxide.
Negative energy.
And the upsets that sometimes take your breath away. Breathe.
Take in oxygen.
And nutrients.
And healing love.
Exhale.
Release the part of you that doesn't want to breathe.
That feels stuck in a confined place.
That is afraid to embrace life.
Relax into your breath...
And know that your air flows freely.
Like a gentle, easy breeze.
As you relax with your breath, say to yourself the following affirmations: I am a beautiful person. I deserve health, well-being and love.
I am a kind-hearted person. I deserve ease, gentleness and grace.
I am one with nature, the universe and the divine…
Begin to return your focus to the present place and time. Gently move your body.
As you return to awareness, take three deep cleansing breaths at your own pace and level of comfort.
Allow your breath to return to normal and when you feel ready, open your eyes.

Hey there! Thanks so much for listening to my music, and I really appreciate your kind words! :) Have a great day, Jonathan
July 27th at 3:07pmWhat's happening Wind Warrior? I came across your montage for Little Black Crow on the homepage of this site. I'm loving it. Really touching. Those are some beautiful images to go along with a really pretty song (nice harmonies by the way) We share some heritage too. My Great(x)4 Grandfather is Osceola. The other 2 members of my group, Triple Ave, have Choctaw and Cherokee blood. I can tell I'll be coming back to your page often! Take Care, Hyp for Triple Ave
