about WEAK13
WEAK13 is a British industrial / metal / grunge act, founded in 1999 by NICK J.TOWNSEND in Kidderminster, United Kingdom. As its main singer, producer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Townsend is the only official member of WEAK13 and remains solely responsible for its musical and artistic direction. WEAK13's music is every genre with metal overtones. Townsend recruits a live band to perform with him on stage after recording a WEAK13 album.
WEAK13 has remained underground and independent by choice for many years as Townsend refuses to be controled by record companies. The music has been passed around the underground for many years and only became known to a wider general public recently when Townsend signed his first ever publishing deal in 2007 with Newsound Records who released the DEATH MACHINE e.p. on iTunes. The deal stil left Townsend full artistic control of the music
2009 will see the release of the MISERY I.O.U album on iTunes, a compliation of the best studio tracks from WEAK13's underground CD back catalogue. To celebrate 10 years of the band in 2009 a LIVE album will be released along with a new studio album which is planned to be launched on 09/09/09
