Verdell Stanley
At the age of 28, I was born again and I began a quest to tell all my friends about the new life I had found. That was the beginning of what has now become a life time of evangelism. The last 30 years have been a time of preparation for this day and this hour. God has blessed me with a joyful style of music that has come of age through the years. The songs that I write, almost on a daily basis, combine the Gospel message with today's most popular musical beats and tracks. I have used this musical styles for years while doing street ministry, park ministry, prison ministry and jail ministry. The response received, even with many of the toughest audiences, have been extraordinarily positive. The beats are so easy on the ears and the lyrics are so simple. Even in prison ministry the inmates sing along after hearing just one chorus. The time has finally come to release this powerful music to the world.
My wife, Millie Elizabeth Stanley, is a cornerstone of my success. We have four kids, who love the Lord. Their names are Wendell, Darryl, Joy, and Joshua. Darryl is the force behind all my music productions. He is a powerful Man of God with an incredible ear for music. When he hears the words of a lyric sung, he hears all the parts in the music track before he creates them. Without his talents, my album would only be a dream.
I was employed for 32 years at IBM corporation, from which I have recently retired. All of the training in communications and experiences encountered through my years with IBM are utilized in every song I write. Here I stand today, walking in the vision God has laid out for my life. I am truly blessed, and fortunate, and highly favored by God. After an entire career with IBM that would have fulfilled most men, I am now walking in my destiny. I find it hard to hide the excitement that bubbles within me. I awake daily expecting great things to happen in my Life. Please pay close attention to the powerful move of God in the earth. You will visibly see the role that I and my music play.
