Gregory Orange (guitar, vocals) and Marzj (drums, vocals) are two passionate rockers from the east and west of the Netherlands. Since late 2004 they form the indie rock band The May Bees. Together they make pure and intense rocksongs. Early 2005,The May Bees released their first EP record "Fake Around”. On this debut the band sounds raw, loud and dirty. Critics were very positive about this (homemade) debut. “Fake Around” was put on the list of best Dutch independent records and demo's of 2005 by the most widespread Dutch musicmagzine FRET. Other magazines spoke of an "excellent" and "hopeful" debut. The song “Undefined Sofa Sketches” was broadcasted on Dutch national alternative radio Kink FM and also on different Internet radio stations. After an inspiring year of nationwide playing, The May Bees went back into the studio to produce the even more provocative album "Blame It On The Other Ones". This bombastic record mixes heavy rock songs with short statements and more classic popsongs. This time the reviews were even better...
