Jason Mraz said- "Does a bio have to be only about the past? Couldn't it reflect something more immediate and present? Could a bio be used to tell the future? Either way you look at it, it doesn't change my appearance. I am who I am and you are who you are and everything else is a perception based on acceptance, deception, smoke, mirrors, and so on. It's everything in between us that seems to justify our accidental identities. Does that make sense?"
Makes sense to this 50 years young life-experience woman with original little girl emotions! I am just learning to be real. Real like "The Velveteen Rabbit". Wanna read it? >> http://digital.library.upenn.edu/women/williams/rabbit/rabbit.html
See, I was so well programmed by the collective-ego in my youth that I became almost perfectly real to your expectations. What a successful and beautiful mask I wore! Isn't life about money, property and prestige so that you will accept and maybe even like me? NOT! The outside WAS so 'all together' while the inside WAS sure death from the rancid stench of faking me thus, of not living authentic to my soulful purpose. I did not even know I had a choice to become The Real me or to fulfill the roles I was so forcefully, carefully, and well taught. It practically killed me and so now...I come full circle to lovingly defrag my mind. I discover the consciousness of the heart is all wise and connected to Divine. I am divine! What have you found authentic within you? What have you learned about the ~value of darkness~ that this young striking Jason Mraz seems to sing about? Here are some quotes from some who have come before us...
