Souleye, a Colorado based conscious-wordsmith MC, believes that music is a true healing art. His choice to perform freestyle and completely improvisational allows the present audience to participate and be involved in the creation and collective energy of the music. Unafraid to challenge paradigms, Souleye has been bridging gaps and crossing paths between Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, Electronic, Blue Grass and FUNK.
His freestyle abilities allow him to sit in with any band or DJ, bringing along his vibe of sincere energy and love for each performance. Constantly globe trekking in collaboration with artists including Zilla, Bassnectar, The Glitch Mob, Michael Franti, String Cheese, On The One, and the Everyone Orchestra, you’ll find Souleye’s schedule to be one of the busiest on the MC scene today.
