Sacha Korn

BIOGRAPHY

Sacha Korn is one of the very few German independent artists that releases his music around the world, without any support from German record labels or publishers!

He started entering the Eastern European market by remixing pop songs for Universal Music in Eastern Europe before releasing his band's debut. The Single BABY CHAMPAGNE got to number #1 on the Czech Republics Black Box radio charts and caught some air play in the US-California. The album got released in Germany, Russia CIS, Czech Republic and Poland followed by a tour starting in Amsterdam over Riga to Moscow.

Sacha Korn than headed to Los Angeles to study guitar and experience the international music scene in Hollywood. Upon his return to Europe he decided to settle down in Eastern Europe-Poland-Lodz-the heart of underground! During that time he worked with a lot of bands and artists from around the world in order to license their music into the new market over there-Eastern Europe. In 2002 he set up East-international-music as his own underground Label and THE network bridging the gap between the West and Russia-CIS, Bulgaria, Romania and Poland. At the same time he wrote the music for his debut solo album. The lyrics reflect everything that he experienced throughout these years.

In 2004 he signed as the first foreign solo artist whose debut album was released outside the artist's country of origin first. The Feedback from Russian press was enthusiastic and other countries in Asia followed and showed interest in licensing this album. Up to now his music has been released in Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic-and Germany.

Meanwhile East-international-music has released more than 20 artists throughout Eastern Europe.

In the same year Microsoft X-BOX requested SACHA KORNs music and finally licensed 2 songs for a world wide game release. Slwoly the underground scene around the world gets Access to his Music. 3 month later, summer 2006, Sacha Korn was invited to China to perform a few commercial shows on a festival and live on Chinese TV. A tour in December 2006 follows. JOSE ALVAREZ BRILL (WOLFSHEIM) one of Germanys most successful producer of Alternative/ Progressive Music is producing Sacha Korns debut album.
