Fiddlin' In Appalachia

I've been picking up my fiddle a bit again. I took several years of lessons, fiddle-style, many, many years ago. I'm mostly plucking, not bowing, partly because I'm not getting a lot of the pitches quite right and don't want to make obnoxious loud sounds. I'm hoping that with daily practice that will get better. Any other suggestions?
