After polishing their musical chops for years as a Kiss tribute band in Southern USA, SmokeDream climbed to the top of the rock scene in 1975 with their debut album "SmokeDream". The band layers Rocky, Tim & Allen's gravely vocals with stadium-ready guitars and keys to evoke an album highlighting heart-pounding classic Rock. With standout tracks like "Why Can't We Make It, Rock 'N' Roll Side and Uncle Joe and SmokeDrean Funk," the music of SmokeDream appeals to rock fans and non-rock fans alike.
SmokeDream is a band originally made up of Rocky T. Duckworth, Allen Poole, Tim Tucker and Billy Britt. Andy Eason and Stan Hinesley also frequents the stage.
Since 1978, the band members have worked with artists including Ringo Starr, Edgar Winters, Gary Wright, Colin Haye, Stuart Hamm, Jeff Bates, John Berry and Doctor Hook, in production and/or playing as well as recorded original material.
SmokeDream realizes the need for music arts and education. SmokeDream hopes to build on this by sponsoring and teaching youth music classes at Sumner school of Arts. SmokeDream also hosts quarterly events at the Sumner Auditorium in Sumner GA.
