When people think of traditional Scottish Music, they usually imagine the sound of pipes, accordions and fiddles playing reels and soulful laments. While this is still true, its not the only music being performed by Scottish musicians today. Now there is the sound of FOURGOODMEN, the latest manifestation of Celtic Song.

What makes FOURGOODMEN unique is their personnel. They are all original members of major Scottish bands who have enjoyed huge success in the Music Industry. Between them, they have had almost 60 top 40 singles and 20 top 10 albums, 8 of them # 1's. Total records sold to date: 40,000,000. Now, in the 21st Century, they have come together to perform the hit songs that became the soundtrack for the lives of a generation, world-wide.

The band's debut show was at Glasgow Green, July 2005, performing to an audience of 15,000. Then top of the bill at The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival, Campbeltown, August 2005. Further high profile concerts and festivals in Scotland and Ireland have followed since. All sell outs. Among their most recent appearances were Real Radio's Big In Falkirk Weekend in April 30, 2006; July 1st at The Big Weekend Scottish Borders Music Festival in Galashiels, Scotland; and July 8-9 outdoors at Glasgow Green.

Due to the reaction FOURGOODMEN have experienced live and requests from radio stations in America, the UK and Europe for fresh material to play, the band have started work on an album of brand new songs. FOURGOODMEN hope they will become new hits to add to the already established ones.

On their debut tour of North America the band will be playing all the major 80s hits by Simple Minds and Big Country that all their fans are clamoring to hear once again as well as a selection of their new songs. The tour starts Nov. 25th in Toronto and finishes Dec. 7th in San Francisco.
