POSTSCRIPTS – the day after tomorrow
A laptop artist gone pop who has defined a unique sound in his first solo record. Its atmospheric and catchy music that mixes analog and digital instrumentation, from textured guitars, swelling and shimmering sonic waves to electronic bleeps, and whimsical beats. This record crosses many styles from song to song yet sounds like a good story from beginning to end. It is dreamy and dramatic with subtle transitions that give pop sensibility to getting naked.
Formerly a sound artist, composer, electronic-laptop artist and multi-instrumentalist for numerous events and groups. Presently exploring standard structures of music making. The day after tomorrow is the debut from Postscripts, which is the first for the one-man band darvin serge jones. All songs were written, played and recorded while traveling and moving to a new state over the last year.
