about Justin Taylor
All through childhood my musical ear grew while internalizing Dad's extensive classic rock library that he would play. Began piano lessons in high school; never was in band or chorus in high school (but I was the #1 groupie!!!). Never was afraid to create my own music. B.M. in Music Education from WVU, main instrument was piano, and was only individual in the department that had never been involved in any high school music programs. Classically trained. Latched onto the rich pedagogical method of Orff-Schulwerk. Taught private school music for 3 years after graduating, and currently have taught for 2+ years in public school. I continue to write music and experiment. I am currently transitioning into music technology via computer science and programming.
