Michael Thomas was born and raised in Davidson County, NC. Michael has played music all of his life. He is a very talented musician. Not only is Michael a singer and song writer but he also plays several instruments which include drums, bass, guitar and some fiddle. Michael has been traveling back and forth to Nashville, TN over the past year and finally finished recording a demo CD, titled Bonafide County Boy, with producer Bob McGilpin. It was released in May of 2008. There are five songs on his CD and 3 of the songs Michael wrote himself, which are Bonafide Country Boys, Nobody Else but You, and Drowning In Her Memory. He has performed at The Nashville Palace, The Stage, Second Fiddle, Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar, French Quarter Cafe, and Full Moon Saloon in Nashville over the past year. He has also been performing on stage with his grandpa in a band called Cannonball Express since he was 10 years old. He is currently a member of BMI and CMA. Michael's 1st single, Bonafide Country Boys, was just released in late July on Mark Trail Music, M-T-M, compilation CD #30.
