Metronome/Cheef is best described as rock’s version of OutKast’s Speakerboxx/The Love Below, or more accurately Nutria’s answer to Big Star’s classic Radio City/#1 Record; two distinct records in one package with thematic similarities, but key differences.

Similarities include Nutria’s complete lack of pretentiousness when it comes to playing rock.
