about Neuse
Hailing from Southern New Jersey, or “Dirty Jerseyâ€, Neuse is a growing lyrical genius only getting more dangerous with the microphone and more established as an artist. After taking second place in VH1’s worldwide 2006 Freestyle 59 Competition, Neuse set out to discover new music and take on a new perspective in his writing as well as producing. In the winter of 2006/2007, he began recording for his newest album “The Story of My Lifeâ€.
“The Story of My Life†takes you through the trials and tribulations of Neuse’s life, with 12 new tracks. With a wide variety of topics spanning from depression and suicide to love and gratefulness, “The Story of My Life†is an emotional roller coaster through the mind of “Neuse The Babyâ€. The album opens with “Hip-Hop Don’t Love Meâ€, a song dedicated to Neuse’s struggle of becoming respected in the Hip-Hop industry. The first single off the album, Real Talk featuring fellow VH1 Freestyle 59 finalist Loc Da Realist, has been well accepted in the Hip-Hop community and had play on multiple radio stations, including Sirius and college radio.
The second single will be “A Few Things†featuring Lanna Casey. The song is Neuse’s softer side about the love for his significant other and features a chorus by Lanna Casey, whom was the inspiration for the song. “Look To The Sky†is a track about forgiveness and discovering yourself, whereas the lyrical “The Real Me†is a favorite among Hip-Hop fans. Neuse delivers with his third single “I’m So Hot†which is about questioning whether or not his pursuit in Hip-Hop is logical. The album delivers with diversity and creativeness, and will satisfy any fan of Neuse or Hip-Hop in general. “The Story of My Life†can be purchased online at neuserap.com for $10.
