about Mystic Compass
Mystic Compass is the collaborative work between multi-instrumentalist/composer, Joshua Robert Moore, and singer, Ethereal Brandy. The music is an atmospheric, epic journey along the winding paths of change. It's a delicate, emotionally moving mix of both dark and light very colorfully textured by Brandy's hauntingly beautiful singing, an instrument of it's own.
The second album currently in the works will be like a film without the screen, containing dramatic tales of life and all its intertwining colors, shades and fabrics woven within the threads of time. Flavored with different cultures and time periods, this musical saga is a soundtrack to eternity, its secrets whispered softly on the wind and through the trees by ancient spirits, the supernatural powers that be, the universe and beyond...
The debut release "Guiding Star," features emotive piano and otherworldly ambient sounds with a lot of soulful electric guitar, one song also featuring the talented, layed- back style of guest guitarist Tim Truitt. Songs from this album have been sold for multi-media use and goals for the next album include this as well, possibly film placement being one of the usages. This album is available on ITunes, Amazon, Napster and EMusic.
