about Mary Anne Bennick
Mary Anne’s relationship with the piano began as a toddler when she would tinker with the percussive qualities and tones of a toy piano. She began taking classical lessons at the age of four and formally performed her first composition at 12. After leaving the classical arts at age 15, she followed a passion for playing improvisation and hasn’t turned back since.
Mary Anne enjoys the meditative qualities of improvisation as a metaphor for paradox, surrender, and the emergence of the soul at play!
