influences:

My influences range across all genres of music. Anything that's willing to open up it's soul and courageously show it to the rest of us. Anything that's willing to push the boundaries of what's considered hitlist material. I could name off a hundred artists/groups as inspiration but if I had a 6 disc changer in my car- I'd always have an Eminem, an Immortal Technique, a K'Naan/Guru/Outkast (I know that's cheating), The Roots, a Talib Kweli, and a DJ Shadow disc in rotation. I just hope I can live up to the standards many of them have put before us on some level and be able to throw an LA cd into that rotation sometime soon. --Kid Christ--

I think I could write forever about my influences as an artist. First and foremost would be Eminem. His music reminds me to think outside the box and push the boundaries to the extreme. Other influences would be Bone Thugs -N- Harmony, 2pac, Outkast, Method Man, Linkin Park, Drake, and Timbaland (just to name a few). --Zim--
