Laura Comfort’s new album 'The Comfort Zone' is a cool combination of ambient acoustic pop songs combining Laura's signature angelic voice, heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies and electronic brilliance.

Originally from New York, but now a confirmed Londoner, the divine Ms. Comfort has been singing from an early age, influenced by her musical parentage. Laura recalls always having music in the house, with her mother playing piano or her father playing guitar. After singing in school choirs, she began writing poetry and cut her first album with an a cappella group in high-school. While studying at Harvard College, she joined a successful pop band with students from Berkley Music School leading to an East Coast tour and TV appearances.

Since moving to London, Laura began playing guitar and hit the singer-songwriter scene performing in many of London's local Live venues. Shortly after she was catapulted into the spotlight with her first release ‘Let the Music Take Control’, reaching Top 30 in the Music Week Pop Chart and Top 10 in the Club Chart, championed by Dave Pearce and Scott Mills at Radio 1.

Her follow-up singles ‘Can't Get Enough,’ ‘Mountain’ and ‘Addicted’ were all equally successful, receiving rave reviews, chart action and airplay across the UK and Europe. After success in the charts, Laura rediscovered her roots and focused on writing more expressive, personal songs, resulting in the release of her much acclaimed 12-track album ‘Nature’s Child’. IDJ wrote, her songs are “poppy and catchy yet melancholy at the same time.” ‘Nature’s Child’ moved up the play-lists on BBC stations across the UK uncluding Radio 2, bolstered by live performances and interviews. A remix of ‘Was it Me?’ soon followed, adding to the momentum.

Now Laura is pleased to announce the release of her new album ‘The Comfort Zone,’ a fantastic collection of her favourite songs she has written over the past ten years. Her unique blend of beautiful vocals and crafty song-writing is masterfully produced in this ten track album.. Don’t miss it!
