Johnny Freezze grew up the first 10 years of his childhood with his two brothers and two sisters where he was born in Chicago Illinois. His parents were both quite talented former musical entertainers in show biz who both knew all about the hard ways of the road, but after having kids, and being Irish Catholics, at that time they both felt it was best to quit the biz and try to raise their children in a decent and stable environment. Which they tried. Well eventually Johnny's parents would naturally, but unintentionally spread their talent, musical influence, and drive to the kids with lots of great music, singing, and dance almost always taking place in the home. Shortly after Johnny's tenth birthday his family moved to the Inland Empire in sunny Southern California.
Johnny Freezze spent his teenage years growing up mostly in Fontana California, (hometown to Sammy Hagar). Johnny Freezze had never really shown an interest in playing a musical instrument till about the age of fifteen. Thanks to the influence of his older brother "Jimmy O". That's around the time things began to change for the whole family. Always having an interest in music Johnny's older brother "Jimmy O" bought an electric guitar and became quite good at playing it. Soon after of course Johnny followed his lead becoming quite good at the guitar himself.
Although the bass guitar would ultimately become his instrument of the stage, and his first and only true love. It wasn't long before the two brothers would become well known in their own band for playing their own original songs. The band that would eventually many years later become known as REMBRANDT. After lots of LA and Inland Empire showcase night clubs Rembrandt hit the big stage around the early 80’s doing concerts and opening up for acts like Johnny Winter. The rest of this story is probably only known by the many in Southern California who had followed all the performances, and the music of Rembrandt.

Joining Forces

By the middle of this summer 2009, Johnny Freezze will be returning to southern California to join forces with Kido Connelli (lead guitarist/singer/songwriter), for a very special recording session. Johnny Freezze and Kido Connelli have searched out the internet, (MySpace to be exact) and will be combining their musical talents with some of the hottest, and unique musical talents on MySpace for a super charged recording session of all brand new songs for their next full length CD to be released by 2010.
JukeboxAlive, MySpace, and CDBaby will all be updated as this event unfolds.
Among the few to be invited to witness the last phases of this recording session are Tom, Brian Felsen, and our friends at JBA.
