Demarcus Fleming, a 22-year-old Chicago native, is ready to stake his claim in the industry. As a former group member of the Atlanta quintet hip-hop group Legion, Fleming has been rhyming since his high school days at Chamblee High. His journey from boyhood to man has inevitably brought about change both musically and professionally. I want to be the voice of the youth, he says assuredly. I want my music to focus on the minds of young people what we go through. This philosophy soon developed into the concept his comrades so passionately call J.E.R.K, meaning Junior, Educated, Rich Kids embracing not only music, but life. We want to better ourselves. Were just trying to become men in our own way thats [both] creative and positive. Veering away from the dope boy persona of todays legendary hip-hop acts, Fleming self-proclaimed DGO makes music for the fun of it. Im a superstar, he says enthusiastically. Under his moniker Jungle Boy Entertainment, DGO plans to release his debut album entitled Chronicles of a Superstar which highlights both his creative and lyrical talent. Ive always been misunderstood. When I talk people dont really listen, but when I rap they start to pay attention! The debut album is set to give fans a ray of hope production wise. The catchy tune of Bongo Drums showcases DGOs ability to entertain as well as educate on the premise of life, love, and lust. The irony of Superstar will surely throw fans for a loop as they explore the world of DGO who currently has everything that success has to offer. I live a good life already, so I wont give fans anything fake. The song Superstar is not what you would imagine it to be. Although DGO is still preparing for his debut, the young superstar is definitely not holding back. I want to take over Atlanta and let the people know that life is all about having fun, he says.
