Hitchin' Cricket is an American rock band based in the back hills of Northeastern, Pennsylvania. Hitchin' Cricket is mostly known for its outlaw country, blues, rock 'n' roll and newgrass style. Their live performances always pack the house because their fans thirst for their fresh rock 'n' roll, dirty fun, dancing and lots of toasting between songs, indubitably known as, Socials..!!! The band's current line-up features guitarist Patrick Casper, bassist Jess Erdmann, flautist Melanie Casper and drummer Lee Clarke. The band has released three studio albums, "Jay" released in 1998, "The Effects of Anything" released in 2000 and "Union Dale" which will be released September 2008.
