Joe Luca is a Canadian Music Artist who was born in Canada by Italian parents in 1979. During pre-school he participated in numerous plays and acted out in front of the crowds of parents of other children and performed strongly compared to the other kids his age. Art and drama classes we’re a good outlet for his artistic skills and he continued to develop them as he grew older. He began his singing career at the age of 10 in a small town in southern Italy in the province of Reggio Calabria. He started writing poems, music lyrics at the age of 13 and even wrote his own book at the young age of 19 called “Commotion” a book about improving your self-esteem through obstacles and challenges faced in life and still continues to do so today working on two more as well as writing songs and poems.

At the age of 19 he launched his first self made album "International Playa” which comprised of a few songs self-produced in Canada. Italianrap.com from New York, USA picked up Joe Luca a.k.a. “Giustizia La Bomba” and went on tour in Tuscany, Italy in the year 2000 for 7 days on an all expenses paid trip which was to consist of one live show and interviews from newspapers and talent agencies as well as fans living in the immediate area of Montevarchi and Terranuova. On this trip were other Italian rappers gathered from around the world; Germany, Australia, Canada, America, France and Italy. Giustizia represented Canada.

Following his success in Italy with that tour he returned to Toronto for his next big show with CHIN TV and performed one of his Italian songs from the album called “Ciao Italia”. This song was entered in the CHIN TV “Original song contest” and was broadcast on television numerous times. The song did not win but was a people’s favorite. Joe Luca submitted through video fact his song called “Giustizia” which means “justice” in Italian from the “International Playa” album but was not accepted for air play in the year 2000. Joe Luca did not stop there, his love for music, entertainment and fashion was much too big and he continued to pursue his dreams by producing another album eighteen months after the release of his first EP.

He launched his second album called "In tha mix-The art of a champion". This album took another one year and six months to self-produce and the album was distributed same as the first one, coast to coast in Canada through Indiepool in all HMV stores. Trying to self manage his own company called “Giustizia La Bomba Music” and act as his own booking agent for live shows was not easy and Joe Luca never gave up. “In tha mix” was a great album better than his first also that showed more development as an artist but since no major music label paid any interest he decided to take a pause and go to college.

He worked with the local radio station and was the street team promotions captain all the while finding the time to participate in martial arts in Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing for 5 years while going to college to study fitness and received his diploma at Algonquin College in Ottawa and was as certified health and fitness professional by the year 2005. His achievements in martial arts we also very impressive attaining his advanced purple belt which is the level just before moving on to brown and then black.

He moved to Toronto and lived there for 4 solid years and took a break from martial arts and music to continue his career in the fitness industry. Continuing to follow his dream he became one of Toronto’s best fitness consultants and took up acting classes to further his career in show business. Attending The Toronto Acting Academy for one full year as well as going to regular castings and being booked for the movie “Max Payne” as a background extra. Working with top American producers for the commercial shoot of “Poker stars” and many other jobs including Rogers blackberry mobility print ad, Nicorette gum, and being a principle lead role in the comedy show “Keys to the Vip” as “Crazy Joe Luca”.

During the months he worked in the gyms he continued to pursue his dreams of when he was a young boy and then a teenager with a vision into an adult who wanted to be in show business and entertain the masses.

The new album “Secrets and treasures” which holds the single song “Dirty Vegas” was inspired by relationships between a man and a woman. The album and the songs in the album are much different than the past albums. This is a pop album with no vulgarity, no violence and a very positive energy that everyone can enjoy. It is a commercial and viral sounding compilation of songs that are all produced in Canada with a very original branding that does not exists in the pop world today. Although it is rapping it is a very different kind of lyrical flow than what you hear in rap music today. The lyrics are very engaging, educated, positive, they tell a very good story and they tell a story that is real and that is now captivating the moments we all live in.

The album began it’s development late 2008 and continued strongly from then on. 5Xchampion and Hall of Fame on battle of the beats with the new hot9.9fm Dirty Vegas was written in Ottawa, Canada by Joe Luca and Luc Gauthier. Dirty Vegas speaks of freedom and demonstrates the changes in the world and that things can be beautiful and positive. During the production of Dirty Vegas, Joe Luca and Luc Gauthier a.k.a. Noches who is a long time friend of Joe Luca, went to Los Angeles to produced two songs for this album.

They we’re both there when Michael Jackson died. Joe Luca was interviewed by Fox Live news and promoted Canadian music artists while doing so and explaining his story of how he was present on that day in Los Angeles. Clips of one of his interviews can be seen on YouTube by Black street TV production. This was a big moment in the history of his artistic development now at the age of 30. Dirty Vegas was submitted to Ottawa’s pop radio station for a head to head competition that lasted 5 different nights on something called “Battle of the beats” where two songs go head to head and compete for radio play and a title called “Hall of Fame” where the song is undefeated for 5 nights in a row and the winner is decided by texted in votes by the listeners.

Giustizia La Bomba ft. Noches with Dirty Vegas began as the challenger’s and went on to win the “Battle of the beats” and becoming crowned champions and entered the “Hall of Fame” with the new Hot 89.9FM radio station. They defeated 5 major label artists including Cascada, R&B singer Mario, Roz Bell from Toronto, and musical moguls Beyonce and Kanye West with their new song EGO.
