about Mr. Brooks
Born in Birmingham, Alabama and moved all over the Southeast, I was more of a rambler then an Allman Brother with an empty Bottle of Whiskey. I settled no where so my influences where brief and straight to the point. I discovered house music in 91' from bobbin' my head to sweet dreams remix by La Bouche' and I don't think my head ever stopped rockin' back and forth since. I have not been producing long, only three years to give a rough estimate, but I try to capture my own take on the originality that the music of my time and right now portray. I try to use every day noises and sounds to emulate a sense of awareness of my surroundings and give the listener a view into my unique way of perceiving things. I am also with a music production group in Birmingham called BTUlive.
