One hundred years ago Jeffrey Smith might have jumped freight trains or stowed away on tramp steamers. He could have written novels like Jack London, painted portraits of exotic womanhood like Paul Gaugin and been a guide through steaming jungles from the furthest outposts of civilization.
In his earlier days he sang with a Top 40 band and had the privilege to open in a local Country Night Club ahead of touring performers such as George Jones, Faron Young, Hank Williams Junior, and Christi Lane to name a few. Afterward he moved to Florida and worked extensively as a charter boat fishing mate then later as a boat captain aboard magnificent sport fishing charter boats and luxury yachts, traversing the global road from Palm Beach to the Carribean, from Gloucester to the Azores and the Cape Verde Isles. He's sung in Key West, entertained in Palm Beach, dreamed in Bahamas and jammed with musicians in Boston. He once shared a tailgate of pickup truck with Jimmy Buffett at a south Florida party and they drank some spirits and sang to the wee hours of the morning.
Jeff offers a variety of styles in different genres depending on the client and the venue. He occasionally performs with bands that are in need of his particular vocal talents. Jeff is currently available for private events, club dates, and lounge bookings. He offers rich, full entertainment as a solo act and tailors the genre to the audience.

October 28th at 2:41pmHey Jeff a lot of good sounding tunes on your profile. I was shocked to see Roller Derby Queen by Jim Croce. My brother and I use to perform that cover many moons ago. You did a great job on Margville by Buffet also. If you want to compare notes I have a version on my duo band site Blackstone 54 here on juke. This is my solo site and would appriciate your friendship. Your promo pic looks a little like Glen Cambell. again great job enjoyed your music style.. sincerly glen
