about Hector Dog

Born inadvertently during an era in which the use of fossil fuel distillates was compulsory and music could, more often than not, be described as interesting, DrummingDog has sat at the back and hit things with sticks in any number of cool bands at cool locations for quiet some time. From Kabuki at Rebecca's through to Paul Tully and Graham Larkbey at The Hope and Anchor, he is now tail-waggingly pleased to be playing with 'Deaddogbounce'.

Although a project still in its developmental stage, the best way for me to describe the writing, arranging, playing and vocal talent that forms the core of this band in the shape of 'Haris' and 'Hari' (pure coincidence), would be to open a dictionary of superlatives and highlight words at random. In the meantime, "stunning" will put you in the conceptual ballpark.

Should you get the opportunity to hear Hari sing these skillfully-crafted inspired songs, take it. The reward will be a vocal performance with a pitch, timbre and purity of tone so beautiful it will take much of your breath away, leaving you just enough to cheer loudly and shout for more. Yes, she really is that good.

And some of the drumming might not be that bad either...
