about DJ Maverick
I started out simply being an apprentice to a local musician. Through his training, I learned the ropes and began to create my own music. Not being able to read sheet music or sing or even play an instrument, I began to take the songs that I love and re-work them into something completely different. Stripping the original beats and sounds down to just the bare vocals, I have been able to create some intense house and club beats that rock your body and kick your ass! As I close my eyes, I hear the beats in my head...the 808 drums, the percussion, the bass line, all the details come to me. I search though a riff library of 1,000,000+ sounds and try to find exactly what I'm looking for. I layer it and layer it and layer it until I find exactly what I want to hear. Music is my life and without it, there would be no life in me.
