I am Hanuksunamun Hashurelurem of Ahrumalah, a small fishing village lying along the coast of the Gulf of Suez in the Governate of Al Jizah, Egypt. Born to Hoemorem and Ayoshi Hashurelurem on the 9th of Februrary 1986, I left as a mere babe destined for the west where I was put up for adoption. I gravitated towards studying the arts in playing the piano at the early age of 6 years. I commenced singing for crowds of a couple hundred at 7 years and so I began appearing within the media; ie in newspapers, and so forth. I composed "Butterfly", a song written at the age of 7 and have been taking up song writing seriously from 13 years of age untill today.


In yearning to reach my true vocal potential I exasperated my vocal chords to the point where I attained the angelic voice of a soprano from that of a tenor in 2008. With speech therapy; as a result, I'm now blessed with two voices; one of a boy and the other of an american woman. So fans, do note that Shawnthediva's voice has now emerged as a meglage of Celine Dion and Tina Turner in song and is no longer capable of singing identically to her recordings in 2005.

Since then I've took a 2 year break due to the disappointment of not attaining my rights of passage to move to Guadeloupe where I was to be scouted and work with a Parisian Producer there in 2005. At the age of 15 years I was offered a contract deal with a then canadian offshore label based in Barbados, but that deal fell through as a result of finances on my part unfortunately. Since 2008, I've got back on track with my carreer in doing some serious Training in dance, vocal versatility and songwriting. I have at present 16 songs most of which are in english and have sought to be very versatile in writing a bit of jazz, r&b, pop, latin, and so forth. I am Shawnthediva and am proud to note that i'm a multilingual professional, dancer, singer, songwriter and arranger. Do enjoy my pieces.
