A technical, hard-driving power trio, The John Douglas Company is loud and crunchy like rice crispies. And really good looking. The band got started in 2007 and came on the Asheville music scene strong with their warehouse studio in the River Arts District. "The Monastery," as it was called, quickly became a super cool underground music venue and musician's collective. The three band members write and play all original music which has been dubbed "Mountain Grunge," and are currently recording their first full length album at Echo Mountain Studio.
