Our unique sound is the E.A.R.T.H. sound stem by many of the great musicians and artists past and present. Earthlings (our fans) have compared us to many artists, but our sound can not be traced to just one artists but many artists that influenced the individuals of E.A.R.T.H. We are individuals at first, but we make universal music.
We are a new breed of artists hailing from the West Coast I.E. (Inland Empire)and are putting the I.E. on the map.
E.A.R.T.H. – Ro Tone aka Sinister XL, Double Negative, NoEand Write Words - all come from different backgrounds with different styles and different upbringing. No wonder why they called themselves E.A.R.T.H. E.A.R.T.H. consists of many ethnicities. Write Words is Filipino part German, Double Negative is Black half El Salvadorean, Noe is Black half Persian, Ro Tone is Black and a dash of Irish. We combine as E.A.R.T.H.
Even though, they came from different places, they have come together as a union because each has a true love for the world of hip hop. They breathe hip hop, they are hip hop and everything around them revolves thru hip hop. E.A.R.T.H. conjures up rhymes with clever wordplay, blazing rhyme schemes and demonstrates the art of story telling easily.
Their first debut album self-titled "E.A.R.T.H. (E.verything A.round R.evolves T.hru H.iphop)" - was released in September 2005. E.A.R.T.H. was formed in 2002 from two local hip hop cliques United Nations and Nomadic Minds. They gained each others respect and formed E.A.R.T.H. at the University of California, Riverside.
E.A.R.T.H. is currently in the studio recording their sophomore album entitled “Grass Roots: From The Ground Up,” It is a highly anticipated album after a good response in their first debut album. They are force to be reckoned with, bringing various inspirations with the passion to bring their new sound and contribute to the hip hop community. If you are a true lover of hip hop, then Everything Around Revolves Thru Hiphop, and E.A.R.T.H. reflects to that sense.
