about Debra LaBar
Debra LaBar, a New Orleans native currently residing in Roswell, Georgia and Asheville, North Carolina, is a self-taught artist and has been making art her entire life. She has a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Social and Psychological Growth from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
While sharing her time between Roswell and Asheville, she owns and operates Cyrilla Vintage at Canton Street Antique Market in Roswell where she also exhibits her paintings. She has contributed her art to benefit several charities including Wonderroot and Homeless Pets.
Debra spends her leisure time enjoying art in all its forms including visiting galleries, listening to music and attending live shows of all kinds. She is continually experimenting with different mediums and techniques. She loves to travel and draws inspiration from new places, meeting people, exploring different cultures and experiencing nature. SHe hopes her love of color and all things exotic shines through her art.
