Accordionist David DiGiuseppe is equally at home performing Irish tunes in a pub, French musettes in a cabaret, contra or Cajun music for a dance, or in the intimate setting of a concert hall. He travels the United States playing for New Englandstyle contra dances, both as a featured accordionist and with his dance band FootLoose.
An accomplished multiinstrumentalist, DiGiuseppe plays accordion, concertina, banjo, Appalachian dulcimer, Irish cittern, mandolin and guitar.
DiGiuseppe has released three solo recordings featuring his masterful accordion playing. He appears on three recordings with Footloose as well as on many other musicians recordings. He also performs on several issues of Shoofly, an audiomagazine for children.
He has written two extensive collections of traditional tunes arranged for accordion published and distributed by Mel Bay Publications.
