Mysia officially started up in 1999, with our first gig held at Taverna 58 in Pescara. Shortly, our first female vocalist Veronica, joined the band. The name of the band means: “God forbid” or, in Italian, “mai sia”, we argued that Mysia could look more exotic... At that time we were really focused on melting dark influences with 70ies...
