about chanlobun
several years ago there was a dream and in this dream there was a dapper oriental gentleman named chanlobun, shamus extraordinaire. there was a cohort named rooty-toot, and together they solved mysteries, had adventures, and generally sorted things out in fine fashion. they being caucasian and american too might spoil things from a purist's point of view, but they don't mind. they've always felt oriental anyway, so it suits them just fine. they mean no disrespect to people of the orient, as they are part buddhist. not sure which part, though. one of their favorite sayings comes from the buddha: "when you realize how perfect everything is you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky." the music is evolving, some being from a dark past: brooding songs with a trickle of hope here and there. the evolution is part of an upward spiral, as they rode the downward one as far as they could. onward and upward. they no longer are in the mystery-solving business. they are now in the mystery-enjoyment phase and hope you enjoy these songs. thank you and namaste
