about Caitlin Frame
Caitlin and her band have been together for almost a year now. They all met at school, in a two-year time span, and only after bugging Ms. Frame to get her act together did they finally start playing as a band. Between school and trying to work at the same time as struggling musicians together they have all become incredibly tight, musically and emotionally, to each other. After most practices they find themselves hanging around, despite the work looming over their heads. During a show it is not unlike them to all switch instruments and play a cover song shouted out by someone in the audience. Its the typical story of a band trying to make it in this luck-of-the-draw industry. But theres something that sets these guys apart from the model beer-drinking basement-playing local band. With a solid and diverse catalogue behind her, Caitlin is preparing to enter the studio in late 2006, and to release her debut full-length album in the spring or summer of 2007. In the meantime, the group is currently scheduling an extensive tour to support the album's release. They will be playing clubs from Maine to New York, and out to Chicago. Caitlin has also been chosen to feature in the New York Songwriter's Circle, hosted at New York City's legendary Bitter End. Past line-ups of the NYSC have included Norah Jones, Lisa Loeb, Gavin DeGraw, Vanessa Carlton, and many others.
