about Audio Gourmet
The main aim of Audio Gourmet is to establish a diverse network of music connosieurs who are truly passionate and open-minded about a wide range of experimental music.
This page is dedicated to showcasing our ambient music projects and meeting other like minded individuals. It is designed for listeners/producers/musicians to share their enthusiasm for each other's music.
Audio Gourmet began in 2007 with various production ventures along the lines of ambient/experimental 'sound-art'.
An intense interest in this 'sound-art' resulted in various experiments in producing cinematic soundscapes, that lend themselves to a wide range of environments.
In January 2008, Audio Gourmet had their first release on Webbed Hand Records (www.webbedhandrecords.com), called 'Rusted Dreams'. This short 2 track E.P of deep drone textures illicits a dream-like state in its listeners with these strange hypnotic arrangements.
The follow up, again released on Webbed Hand Records was 'Earth's Exit Door'; the first full album from this artist. It features five conceptual tracks that evoke thoughts on life's ultimate questions.
More is indeed in store for Audio Gourmet, with collaborations with musicians, experiments that further defy what man perceive as music and other generally unusual sound textures.
Please feel free to download our music for free and do with it as you will. If you are new to the concepts of Ambient music, please read the 'Favourite Music' section - it serves as a sort of listening instruction manual, if you will.
