I grew up a night club brat playing all kinds of music in a family band. I started playing tenor sax when I was fourteen years of age, and played professionally off and on for over thirty nine years. I sold my tenor in 2006 on ebay to somebody in Japan. My poor old freckled sax, was a collectors item. It felt like I lost my best friend, and I bought an alto later, but it just isn't the same since I grew up with a tenor. I had a metal mouth piece too. I do not intend to play for the public anymore but I still like to fool around a little with the sax. Its time now, for me to just sit back and appreciate and enjoy the talent of others.
